Inter Milan and Man United could finally wrap up a deal for the sale of goalkeeper Andre Onana tomorrow.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri and the Red Devils should soon finalize the transfer for €50 million plus add-ons, and that Inter are ready to move for Bayern Munich’s Yann Sommer to replace him.

As of yet, nothing is official – Onana is still an Inter player.

However, the clock is now ticking. It should not be long at all before the Cameroonian formally makes the switch to Old Trafford.

The two clubs have been working in talks for the past few days to finalize their agreement.

Thursday evening saw a conference call between representatives of the two clubs to iron out a final agreement. That did not quite result in the decisive handshake, however.

Moreover, Inter have also been dealing with the major distraction that is the Romelu Lukaku situation.

But everything is moving in one direction – they will wrap up the deal sooner or later. And it may be a “sooner” more than a “later” – tomorrow could be the day.

Inter Milan & Man United Could Complete Andre Onana Transfer Soon

Getting Onana in as soon as possible has been a priority for United. They want to give the 27-year-old ample time to work with their squad and coach Erik ten Hag in training, and certainly be a part of their preseason tour of the US.

And Inter, for their part, also want to rip the band-aid off and make the sale.

Then the Nerazzurri can move on with their other plans.

Sky report that Inter will waste no time in signing Bayern keeper Sommer once they complete the sale of Onana. All systems are go for the Swiss international’s move once the Onana deal goes through.

With neither team involved wanting to dawdle, it is only a matter of time before the Onana move happens.

Sky anticipate that the Cameroonian will complete the move to Old Trafford tomorrow.
