Inter Milan are right on the verge of completing the sale of goalkeeper Andre Onana to Manchester United.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, who report that the Nerazzurri will imminently sell the Cameroonian in a deal worth a total of €54 million.

Onana is still an Inter player officially, but that should change very soon.

The clock is now ticking. It should not be long at all before the Cameroonian formally makes the switch to Old Trafford.

The two clubs have been working in talks for the past few days to finalize their agreement.

Thursday evening saw a conference call between representatives of the two clubs to iron out a final agreement. That did not quite result in the decisive handshake, however.

Moreover, Inter have also been dealing with the major distraction that is the Romelu Lukaku situation.

But everything is moving in one direction – they will wrap up the deal sooner or later. And it may be a “sooner” more than a “later” – tomorrow could be the day.

Inter Milan Will Soon Sell Andre Onana To Man United

According to SportItalia, it is now a matter of days or hours.

Inter and United have a total agreement on the deal.

The player also has an agreement with the Red Devils on a five-year contract.

The clubs should formalize the transfer imminently, and then Onana can complete his medicals and sign his contract with United.

SportItalia also reveal the fee that Inter will receive from United.

The Nerazzurri will get a €50 million fixed fee. In addition to this, the clubs have agreed add-ons worth €4 million, taking the total value of the deal to around €4 million.

Onana joined Inter just twelve months ago on a free transfer from Ajax.

However, the 27-year-old will end his Nerazzurri adventure earlier than expected. He will join United very soon.
