The agent of Atletico Madrid striker Alvaro Morata has met with Inter Milan and Juventus whilst Roma push for his signature.

This according to SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, who reported on the Serie A interest in Morata on Twitter.

Morata’s experience in Serie A makes the 30-year-old an attractive target for several big clubs in Italy.

Inter are among the teams tracking the Atletico striker.

Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi is reportedly an admirer, making the Spaniard the first choice in attack. This comes after Inter abruptly pulled the plug on talks to sign Romelu Lukaku.

That leaves the Nerazzurri scrambling to come up with alternative targets.

Morata is one player who has reportedly come onto the Nerazzurri’s radar. Should they prioritize a signing in the same age bracket as Lukaku and with similar experience, the Spanish former Juventus, Real Madrid, and Chelsea man would certainly make sense as a target.

Moreover, reports suggest that the release clause for Morata will be €12 million after he signs a new contract.

And according to Pedulla, Inter have recently contacted Morata’s agent.

However, the Nerazzurri are far from the only big Italian team who are keen.

Not Just Inter – Juventus & Roma Also Want Alvaro Morata

In addition to Inter recently speaking with Morata’s agent, Pedulla reports that Juventus have as well.

The Bianconeri have already brought Morata to Serie A on two separate occasions. The Spaniard played for the Bianconeri between 2014 and 2016, and then from 2020 to 2022.

Morata could very well return to Turin for a third spell as Juventus consider their striker options.

But according to Pedulla, the team pushing hardest to sign Morata are Roma.

The Giallorossi have made the 30-year-old their main target in attack. Roma coach Jose Mourinho is very keen on linking up with Morata, and doesn’t want to risk losing out to Inter or Juventus.
