Inter Milan would only consider listening to offers of at least €150 million for striker Lautaro Martinez this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Spot, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri consider the 25-year-old to be all but unsellable, and that only a truly massive offer could potentially test their resolve.

Over the past five seasons, Martinez has developed into a hugely important player at Inter.

The Argentine joined from Racing Club in 2018, at the age of twenty. He did not immediately become a fixture in the starting eleven, but did experience significant growth over the course of several seasons.

During that time, Martinez has not been without suitors among Europe’s elite.

Premier League giants Arsenal, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur have all targeted the Nerazzurri striker in the recent past.

Barcelona and Manchester City have also chased Martinez during his time at Inter.

However, the Argentine has always stayed loyal to Inter. Next season, he will wear the captain’s armband following the departure of Samir Handanovic.

Inter Milan Would Only Consider Astronomical Offer For Lautaro Martinez

This summer, it’s not only big European clubs who could try to sign Martinez.

Reportedly, a club in the Saudi Pro League has made a huge offer to the player. Teams from the gulf state have been tempting big name players to move from Europe this summer, and reportedly one club put a deal worth €60 million net per season on the plate for Martinez.

However, the Inter striker rejected it. He wants to stay put.

And, for their part, the Nerazzurri would have no intention of selling Martinez.

Inter would not just hold out for a big fee. They would only consider offers that are absolutely gargantuan.

The Gazzetta put the number at around €150 million. At that point, Inter may well consider bids even for a player for Martinez’s stature.

That could also be the kind of enormous fee the Nerazzurri would hold out for for Nicolo Barella.

But if an offer is below that, Inter would simply summarily reject it.
