Inter Milan are preparing to make an offer for Sampdoria goalkeeper Emil Audero very soon.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri have been in talks with the Blucerchiati and with agents to see whether a deal would be possible, and could make their formal offer for the 26-year-old some time today.

At the moment, Inter are trying to move on a couple fronts as far as the goalkeeping positions are concerned.

On the one hand, the Nerazzurri are trying to make a transfer of Yann Sommer from Bayern Munich happen as soon as possible.

It looks just a matter of time before the Nerazzurri can wrap up a deal for Sommer. He wants to join, and it’s just a matter of finding an agreement with Bayern.

But the 34-year-old is not the only goalkeeper that the Nerazzurri are after.

Inter want to sign two goalkeepers. Sommer would only be the first.

Anatoliy Trubin is a persistent target for the Nerazzurri, whether this summer for a fee or next summer on a free transfer.

But if Inter cannot sign the Ukrainian this summer, they could look for a name closer to home.

Inter Milan Ready To Make Offer For Emil Audero Soon

26-year-old Emil Audero does not look at all likely to stay at Sampdoria this summer.

The Blucerchiati’s relegation to Serie B means that they will struggle to hold on to their best player. And Audero has been one of the Ligurian team’s outstanding performers since his arrival in 2018.

Inter are considering signing Audero in addition to Sommer.

According to Sky, the Nerazzurri’s move is now well underway.

They have made contact with the Blucerchiati already.

There are also talks with Audero’s representatives regarding a deal for the player.

According to Sky, Inter could already table a formal offer to Sampdoria as early as today.
