Inter Milan are getting an offer ready for Arsenal’s Folarin Balogun, whilst West Ham United’s Gianluca Scamacca will only become a target only if Joaquin Correa leaves.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews. The newspaper report that the Nerazzurri are ready to seriously test Arsenal’s resolve on their valuation of Balogun.

With the final month of the summer transfer window almost here, Inter still need to sign a striker.

Arsenal and USMNT starlet Balogun has been the Nerazzurri’s main target for a couple weeks now.

The 22-year-old’s impressive loan season at Reims last season has convinced Inter’s directors. They believe that he is the right investment for both the present and the future.

At the same time, the Nerazzurri know that Balogun won’t come cheap.

Arsenal are hoping for as much as €50 million for the American.

In any event, it won’t be long before the Nerazzurri get a much clearer senses of whether or not an agreement is possible with the Gunners.

Inter Milan Ready To Make Loan + Obligation Offer To Arsenal To Balogun

According to the Corriere, Inter could try to make a deal for Balogun on the basis of an initial loan.

The Nerazzurri could put forward the offer of an initial paid loan deal. The exact fee would be yet to be determined.

Then, Inter could also insert a purchase obligation worth around €35 million for next summer. That way, Arsenal would be ensured a sizable fee, but Inter could delay and spread out the payment.

Inter will propose this to Arsenal in the next few days.

Meanwhile, West Ham United striker Gianluca Scamacca is also a target for the Nerazzurri.

However, the Corriere reports, the Italian international is linked to the future of Joaquin Correa.

If Correa were to be out the door, Inter would aim to move for Scamacca. But Balogun, they anticipate, is still the top target as a new striker.
