Monza have turned down the chance to sign Inter Milan midfielder Stefano Sensi, whilst Lucien Agoume wants another mover abroad.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri are still looking to find new clubs for the two out-of-favour midfielders for next season.

Monza Won’t Sign Stefano Sensi Permanently

27-year-old midfielder Sensi spent last season on loan with Monza.

The Italian did make a fair few starts for the Brianzoli throughout the campaign, despite suffering a foot injury during the campaign.

However, Tuttosport report, Monza coach Raffaele Palladino has made his decision. He does not want to bring Sensi back next season, as he’s aiming to focus on a different profile of midfielder.

Therefore, the Brianzoli definitely will not exercise the purchase option that they have to make Sensi’s deal permanent.

However, Sensi hardly has a place in Inter’s squad either. Particularly with the arrival of Lazar Samardzic seemingly imminent, there is little room in midfield.

Moreover, Nerzzurri coach Simone Inzaghi has never fully trusted the 27-year-old due to his frequent injuries.

Inter are therefore looking for a new club for Sensi. Presumably, this would have to be a permanent sale rather than a loan move considering that the midfielder’s current contract runs out at the end of next June.

However, as of yet, no concrete interest has materialized.

Lucien Agoume Wants Another Loan Move Abroad

Meanwhile, midfielder Agoume has gone out on loan in each of the past three seasons.

In the 2020-21 campaign, the Frenchman was at Spezia. Then, in each of the past two seasons he has been back in his homeland.

Agoume has since played for Brest and Troyes on loan.

According to Tuttosport, the 21-year-old wants another loan move. Moreover, he wants it to be outside of Italy.

The newspaper report that some clubs within Serie A have shown an interest in loaning in the Frenchman.

However, the player wants a move abroad. He feels wary after receiving very little playing time during a season on loan at Spezia.
