Inter Milan will complete the signing of Lazar Samardzic from Udinese tomorrow.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reports on his homepage that the Nerazzurri should be able to wrap everything up for the 21-year-old’s arrival after having reached a full agreement with the Friulani on the deal.

Samardzic is not an Inter player yet, but barring major late surprises he will be soon.

The clubs only have to work out the very final details of the transfer. The finances on the deal are all set in stone more or less, reports Di Marzio.

Former RB Leipzig midfielder Samardzic will join Inter on an initial paid loan. The loan fee will be €4 million.

Then, at the end of next season, there will be a purchase obligation, which sees the Nerazzurri sign the Serb on a permanent basis for €16 million plus €2 million in add-ons.

Therefore, the Nerazzurri will pay right around €22 million should all add-ons be triggered.

Inter Milan To Sign Samardzic For Fabbian + Cash

The inclusion of young midfielder Giovanni Fabbian joining Udinese is also a key facet of the deal.

The 20-year-old will join the Friulani for a fee of €4 million.

That deal is nominally separate from the transfer of Samardzic. However, all reports suggest that Inter offering Fabbian played a crucial role in unlocking talks for the Serb.

Moreover, Di Marzio reports, there will be a buyback option for Fabbian, per Inter’s insistence.

The Nerazzurri will have the option to sign Fabbian back for a fee of €12 million.

Now, Di Marzio reports, everything is at the finish line.

Inter and Udinese will get the last formalities out of the way and complete the official documents on the deal tomorrow.

Then, Samardzic can sign his contract and join up with his new Nerazzurri teammates.
