Inter Milan are considering making a move for Paranaense goalkeeper Bento Matheus Krepski before the summer transfer window closes.

This according to Spanish media outlet Relevo, via FCInterNews who reports that the 24-year-old is on the Nerazzurri’s radar as a possible backup keeper.

This summer, Inter have been trying to sort out their goalkeeper conundrum for next season.

Andre Onana has left for Manchester United in a big money deal. However, the Cameroonian is far from the only one.

Nerazzurri captain Samir Handanovic has also departed after more than a decade. Therefore, Inter will have a couple of slots to full in terms of the goalkeeping positions.

Bayern Munich’s Yann Sommer appears to be the Nerazzurri’s first choice to replace Onana as the starter.

There are still question marks about when they will finally wrap up a deal for the Swiss. But it still appears to be on the cards.

But as far as the backup option, there are a number of players on Inter’s radar.

Inter Milan Tracking Paranaense Keeper Bento As Possible Backup Option

According to Relevo, the Nerazzurri are keeping their eye on a player from the Brazilian league.

24-year-old Bento has made a total of 199 appearances for Paranaense to date. He has become the Brazilian club’s first-choice keeper over the past couple seasons. The Brazilian has not won any caps for his country yet.

According to the report, the Nerazzurri are paying attention to Bento as they continue to cast their net for a keeper.

Shakhtar Donetsk keeper Anatoliy Trubin is still a priority. But the chances of signing the Ukrainian this summer appear to be diminishing as his club hold out for a high fee.

Sampdoria’s Emil Audero is another target. Meanwhile, Filip Stankovic could very well stay in Inter’s first-team squad as the backup keeper next season.
