The agents of Udinese midfielder Lazar Samardzic are at Inter Milan headquarters where they’re working to finalize his transfer to the Nerazzurri.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the deal will finally go through today or tomorrow.

Samardzic’s move from Udinese to Inter has looked like a done deal for quite a number of days now.

The clubs have agreed terms on a paid loan deal containing a purchase obligation already. And yesterday, the former RB Leipzig man underwent medicals on the move.

Therefore, virtually all the work is done on the move. And yet, at least officially speaking, Samardzic has remained a Friulani player.

This is because the player’s agents reportedly still need to iron out a few more aspects of the agreement on his five-year deal.

Agents Of Lazar Samardzic Finalizing Deal With Inter Milan

Whilst yesterday had reportedly been meant to be the day that Samardzic would put pen to paper on his contract to join the Nerazzurri, he did not do so.

Even after the Serb underwent his medicals, his representatives were absent. Therefore, Inter did not make the move official.

This even led to one or too suggestions that the move, which has looked like a sure thing, could still be in the balance.

Reports named Premier League side West Ham United as a possible interested party trying to hijack the deal. The East Londoners may well need to sign a replacement for ex-AC Milan and Lyon midfielder Lucas Paqueta.

However, FCIN report, Samardzic’s agents are now at Inter headquarters.

It shouldn’t be long before the wait is over. Either today or tomorrow Samardzic will be able to finally sign his contract with Inter.

The 21-year-old can then immediately start getting up to speed with his new teammates. The beginning of the new Serie A season is now only a week away.
