Inter Milan are reportedly pondering a move for Alexis Sanchez even if Joaquin Correa lingers at the club.

This summer, the Nerazzurri have revamped the attacking department, replacing Edin Dzeko and Romelu Lukaku with Marcus Thuram and Marko Arnautovic.

Nevertheless, the management would like to make further changes up front. The Nerazzurri are still hoping to offload Joaquin Correa who has been disappointing over the last couple of seasons.

As we reported yesterday, the Italian giants would replace the former Lazio man with the returning Alexis Sanchez.

The 34-year-old spent three campaign at the Meazza. He joined from Manchester United in 2019 and remained until 2022.

The Chilean is now unattached following a solitary campaign at Olympique Marseille.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport via FcInterNews, Inter are considering a swoop for Sanchez even if Correa remains at Appiano Gentile.

In this case, the Nerazzurri would expand their attacking options to five players vying for two starting positions.

The source expects the club to make a final decision on the matter in the final days of the summer transfer session.

Inter Milan Could Bring Back Alexis Sanchez Even If Joaquin Correa Remains At The Club

On another note, the report believes that Stefano Sensi’s chances of remaining at Inter are increasing by the day.

The 28-year-old joined the club in 2019 but recurring injury problems derailed his career progress.

The Italian spent the last 18 months on loan between Sampdoria and Monza. This summer, he returned to Inter and delivered the goods in pre-season.

With Lazar Samardzic’s deal dead in the water, Sensi would be the internal solution for the Nerazzurri.
