Inter Milan are aiming to wrap up the signing of defender Benjamin Pavard from Bayern Munich by Wednesday.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reported live on air via FCInter1908 that the Nerazzurri are just waiting for Bayern to find a replacement as they aim to have Pavard in Milano either tomorrow or the day after.

Inter are closing in on the signing of Pavard.

The 27-year-old is the player who the Nerazzurri have identified to replace Milan Skriniar in defense.

Nerazzurri CEO Beppe Marotta made no effort to hide the fact. And coach Simone Inzaghi has also admitted that he wants the Frenchman in his squad by the end of the summer transfer window.

Inter have been pushing in talks through the past few days.

They have continued to push their offer up, and hoped that the player’s insistence would make the difference.

And now, it’s a done deal. Inter and Bayern have reached a full agreement on a deal for Pavard.

Inter Milan Want To Sign Benjamin Pavard By Wednesday

Now, there is total agreement between Inter and Bayern on a fee of €30 million plus €2 million in add-ons for Pavard.

A key factor will be the Bavarians finding a replacement.

Bayern are now in a hurry to identify a player who can take the Frenchman’s place on the right side of the defense.

The search is now well underway. The German champions are considering a number of profiles as they aim to complete the defense available to coach Thomas Tuchel next season.

And for their part, Inter are also impatient. The Nerazzurri do not want to waste much time in wrapping up the deal for Pavard.

There are still several days left in the summer transfer window.

However, Inter know that they need to get moving on signing transfer.

Furthermore, the season is now well underway. Therefore, the Nerazzurri will want to have Pavard at the disposal of their coach Simone Inzaghi as soon as possible.

According to Di Marzio, Inter’s intention is to have Pavard complete his medicals and put pen to paper on his deal by Wednesday at the latest.
