Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard will to undergo his medicals on a move to Inter Milan within next next 24 hours.

This according to German broadcaster Sky Sports Deutschland, via FCInterNews.

Inter are closing in on the signing of Pavard.

The 27-year-old is the player who the Nerazzurri have identified to replace Milan Skriniar in defense.

Nerazzurri CEO Beppe Marotta made no effort to hide the fact. And coach Simone Inzaghi has also admitted that he wants the Frenchman in his squad by the end of the summer transfer window.

Inter have been pushing in talks through the past few days.

They have continued to push their offer up, and hoped that the player’s insistence would make the difference.

And now, it’s a done deal. Inter and Bayern have reached a full agreement on a deal for Pavard.

The Nerazzurri will pay a fee of €30 million for the Frenchman. In addition, there are €2 million in potential add-ons.

Benjamin Pavard To Undergo Inter Milan Medicals Imminently

Now, the only question seems to be exactly when Pavard will wrap up the last formalities of his transfer.

The Frenchman still must undergo his medicals and then sign his contract.

But that looks to be only a short time away.

Sky Deutschland report that the former Stuttgart defender and 2018 World Cup winner should get the medicals out of the way within the next 24 hours.

Inter don’t have too much more patience to get the move done. The Nerazzurri do not want to waste much time in wrapping up the deal for Pavard.

There are still several days left in the summer transfer window.

However, Inter know that they need to get moving on signing transfer.

Furthermore, the season is now well underway. Therefore, the Nerazzurri will want to have Pavard at the disposal of their coach Simone Inzaghi as soon as possible.
