Inter Milan have reportedly identified Perr Schuurs as an alternative in case they end up missing out on Benjamin Pavard.

The Nerazzurri are having an incredibly busy transfer session. But while they managed to fill the gaps in all other departments, the squad is still crying out for a new defender.

In the last week or so, Inter have been tenaciously pursuing Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard.

But despite making major progress in the negotiations with the club and the player, the final green light from the Bavarian giants remains missing.

As we reported earlier today, Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel is still trying to convince the Frenchman to stay in Germany. This situation is leaving the Nerazzurri on their toes.

So while Pavard remains the club’s primary transfer target, DAZN journalist Orazio Accomando (via FcInterNews) believes Inter have now set their sights on another defender as a fallback option.

Inter Milan Would Turn To Torino Centre-Back Perr Schuurs If They Fail To Sign Benjamin Pavard From Bayern Munich

The Source claims the Beneamata have pinpointed Perr Schuurs as Option B. They will attempt to sign the Dutchman if they fail to lure Pavard to Appiano Gentile.

The 23-year-old joined Torino last summer after sharpening his skillset at Ajax. He earned plaudits for his impressive performances in his maiden Serie A campaign.

Accomando claims Schurrs would cost Inter 27 million euros in addition to 3M as bonuses. In their turn, Torino would resort to RB Salzburg’s Omar Solet or Hellas Verona’s Isak Hien as potential replacements.
