Inter Milan are looking for a last-minute solution for young midfielder Lucien Agoume before the transfer window closes.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the 21-year-old is currently in Milano, whilst the Nerazzurri and his representatives weigh up what the best options for him might be for next season.

At the moment, Agoume is an Inter player.

The Frenchman returned to the Nerazzurri for the summer after his loan spell with Sochaux ended.

Agoume was part of Inter’s squad in preseason.

However, the expectation has long been that the 21-year-old would leave for the season, whether it is on loan or on a permanent basis.

La Liga side Almeria have reportedly expressed an interest in signing Agoume. However, that Interest did not come to anything.

According to FCIN, out of all the offers that have arrived so far for Agoume, the Frenchman has not been inclined to accept any of them.

Inter Milan Ready To Leave Lucien Agoume To The Last Second

According to FCIN, Inter could leave Agoume’s situation right down to the wire.

The outlet reports that the player’s agent Djibril Niang is going abroad looking for possible solutions as far as a next club for the 21-year-old.

Meanwhile, intermediaries Oscar Damniani and Crescenzo Cecere, who have handled Agoume’s situation, have also been working.

But things may well go down to the wire. It may not be until very late in the window – even the final day – that Agoume’s situation is sorted out.

There have even been a couple suggestions that Agoume could end up staying at Inter.

However, that does not look to be terribly likely. The young Frenchman will hardly receive much playing time, particularly with the Nerazzurri still possibly signing one more midfielder.

For Agoume, though, the uncertainty may only lift right at the end of the transfer window.
