Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi is reportedly pushing for the signing of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.

This summer, the Nerazzurri have already bolstered their midfield department by signing Davide Frattesi.

Nevertheless, the club has lost the services of both Marcelo Brozovic and Roberto Gagliardini. Therefore, another signing in the middle of the park remains a possibility.

In recent days, Ndombele has emerged onto the scene as a possible candidate alongside Maxime Lopez.

But as we reported earlier, Inter prefer the Spurs midfielder over the Sassuolo star.

Moreover, an emerging report claims that Simone Inzaghi is also pushing for the former Lyon man.

According to La Repubblica via FcInter1908, the Nerazzurri manager has identified Ndombele as the right profile for the role.

Thus, the former Lazio boss has requested the arrival of the 26-year-old midfield powerhouse.

As the source tells it, Inzaghi admires the player’s experience, physical strength and strong personality.

Inter Milan Coach Simone Inzaghi Has Specifically Requested The Signing Of Tottenham Midfielder Tanguy Ndombele

Ndombele became familiar with Italian football having spent the previous season on loan at Napoli.

He spent his campaign playing second-fiddle for the likes of Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa and Piotr Zielinski. Yet, he ended the season with a memorable Scudetto medal.

The French international rose to fame during his time at Lyon, earning a big-money transfer to Tottenham in 2019.

However, his time in North London has been mostly underwhelming and is currently outside of the club’s technical project.

The player will be desperate to secure a move away from the club before the expiry of the transfer session.
