Inter Milan wingback Juan Cuadrado is an injury doubt for Colombia in Tuesday’s FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Chile.

This according to US-based news outlet Infobae, via FCInterNews, who report that the 35-year-old has a leg problem and could miss out for his national team’s second World Cup qualifier of the international break.

Cuadrado is currently on international, duty with the Colombian national team.

The veteran former Juventus, Chelsea, and Fiorentina man started for Colombia in their World Cup qualifier against Venezuela on Thursday.

However, Infobae report, the Inter wingback has picked up a minor leg injury. He had to come off the pitch at halftime of the match against Venezuela.

This could mean that Cuadrado will play no part for Colombia in their next qualifier, against Chile.

It is not yet certain what the implications will be for Cuadrado as far as the Nerazzurri goes. The wingback could return early from international, duty if he is not in the squad to face Chile.

It is also not yet certain whether Cuadrado would be a risk for the derby against AC Milan next Saturday.

According to Infobae, Cuadrado has been training normally since the match against Venezuela.

However, the 35-year-old is still feeling some discomfort in his leg.

Therefore, he could still be absent from the Colombia squad against Venezuela as a precaution.

According to Infobae, Cuadrado’s condition in view of Tuedsay’s match should become clear in the next day or two.

So far this season, Cuadrado has not started any of Inter’s three Serie A matches.

However, the Colombian has come off the bench as a substitute in all three.

Cuadrado has already notched his first assist in a Nerazzurri shirt. He made the cross from which Lautaro Martinez scored his second against Fiorentina.
