Inter Milan striker Marko Arnautovic should be ready for the second of two Champions League matches against Red Bull Salzburg, whilst Juan Cuadrado will be fit for next weekend’s Serie A match against Roma.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews.

Inter are currently without a couple of players through injury.

Striker Arnautovic has been out for right around a month with a thigh strain. The Austrian picked up his injury during the Nerazzurri’s Serie A win away to Empoli in September.

Meanwhile, wingback Cuadrado is carrying some muscle issues.

The Colombian has dealt with tendinitis for a number of weeks now. He has missed several matches, including staying behind during the international break.

Cuadrado did play for around thirty minutes against Bologna before the break.

However, the former Juventus and Chelsea veteran’s tendon issues in his calf kept him on the sidelines against Torino yesterday.

When Inter Duo Arnautovic & Cuadrado Can Return

The returns for both Arnautovic and Cuadrado are in sight however.

For Arnautovic, the initial prognosis was that the former West Ham United, Stoke City, and Bologna striker would miss a couple of months and then be back at the end of November.

However, Sky reports, it won’t actually be that long.

The broadcaster anticipates that the 34-year-old will be out for Tuesday’s Champions League group stage match against Red Bull Salzburg. And he will also miss next weekend’s Serie A clash with Roma.

But then Arnautovic should be fit for the second match against Salzburg. He will be able to be in the squad for the trip to his home country.

Cuadrado will also miss Tuesday’s match against Salzburg at the San Siro.

But the 35-year-old should return one match earlier than Arnautovic.

Sky reports that Cuadrado will be able to return for next weekend’s match against Roma.
