Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi feels that there is little point trying to predict a Serie A title favourite between the Nerazzurri and Juventus.

The coach gave his thoughts on the title race in a press conference after the Nerazzurri beat Frosinone, as reported by FCInterNews.

Inter will come up against Juventus just after the international break.

The Nerazzurri and the Bianconeri will go into that match in the top two positions in the Serie A table.

Just a couple points separate the two teams at the top.

Meanwhile, teams like Napoli, AC Milan, and Atalanta are all some ways back after dropping points in their matches this weekend.

Therefore, there is a real sense that the Derby d’Italia could be a title-decider.

And beyond that, many have predicted that the season will become a two-horse race for the title.

And there has been no shortage of debate and speculation about whether Inter or Juventus are the team best-poised to go on and win that race.

Inzaghi Not Making Predictions On Inter Juventus Serie A Title Race

As far as whether he thinks that the match against Juventus after the break will be decisive in determining the eventual destination of the Serie A title, Inzaghi said “No.”

“It’s only the thirteenth match of the season, that’s just a third of the way,” he noted.

“It will be an important match, though, it represents a lot in terms of the atmosphere,” he went on.

“After the break, all of the top six teams in the table will meet,” Inzaghi observed.

Napoli face Atalanta after the break, whilst AC Milan host Fiorentina.

Juventus coach Max Allegri has argued that Inter are the favourites to go on and win the title. Meanwhile, Nerazzurri CEO Beppe Marotta has named the Bianconeri.

Inter coach Inzaghi said that “I listen to what they have to say.”

He noted that “Marotta has more experience than anyone else.”

“I want my team to play as many matches as possible,” the Nerazzurri coach went on. “Then time and the pitch will tell who wins in the end.”

“We know that there will be difficulties for everyone,” Inzaghi observed.

“We’ll have to stick together in those kinds of situations.”
