Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi has decided to start Denzel Dumfries on the wing and Marcus Thuram in attack against Napoli. This evening’s Serie A clash is scheduled for 20.45 CET.

This evening, Inzaghi is playing the exact same team that started against Juventus last weekend.

Therefore, the coach looks to be going for the strongest starting eleven available to him.

That means that Denzel Dumfries is back in the team.

The Dutchman had not even been part of the squad for Wednesday’s match against Benfica, as he got a rest. However, Dumfries returns to the starting eleven at right-wingback.\

In defense, injuries have forced Inzaghi’s hand somewhat.

Both Alessandro Bastoni and Benjamin Pavard are currently out.

As such, Inter coach Inzaghi has gone with Francesco Acerbi and Matteo Darmian either side of Stefan de Vrij at the back.

In midfield, the trio of Nicolo Barella, Hakan Calhanoglu, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan. That is in fact the trio which has been first-choice since the start of the season.

Meanwhile, on the flanks, Federico Dimarco starts ion the left opposite Dumfries.

Thirdly, in goal, Yann Sommer starts. The former Bayern Munich veteran has played every minute for Inter so far this season.

Lautaro Martinez & Marcus Thuram Start In Attack

Fourthly, in attack, Inter captain Lautaro Martinez starts.

Then, Marcus Thuram starts alongside the Argentine.

The pair, both of whom played in last year’s World Cup final, have been the clear first-choice strike partnership this season.

Then on the bench, there are plenty of players who can impact the match.

Among these are summer signings like midfielder Davide Frattesi and wingback Carlos Augusto.

Meanwhile, Marko Arnautovic and Alexis Sanchez are on the bench.

The pair each started and scored against Benfica during the week. However, they have dropped out of the starting lineup for Martinez and Thuram.
