Tajon Buchanan feels that he is ready to show what he’s capable of on the biggest stage after joining Inter Milan.

The Canadian international spoke to Canadian broadcaster TSN, via FCInterNews.

Buchanan has yet to make an appearance as an Inter player.

The 24-year-old only joined the Nerazzurri yesterday. His move was too late for him to be part of the squad for this afternoon’s Serie A match against Hellas Verona.

But it is only a matter of time before Buchanan starts to get out on the pitch for Inter.

And not likely very much time.

Inter have a packed fixture list on the horizon. There are matches in Serie A, the Supercoppa Italiana, and the Champions League.

Therefore, it looks all but certain that Buchanan will have the chance to play in some very high-profile matches.

So far, the Canadian has mostly avoided the limelight.

He has grown steadily, and there have been some shining moments in the Champions League and at the World Cup.

But at Inter, the level will be much higher. Buchanan believes that he has what it takes.

Tajon Buchanan: Ready For The Biggest Stage At Inter

Buchanan observed that “I’ve wanted to play in Europe since I was a boy. And now I’m here.”

“It’s an incredible thing.”

Of hearing the atmosphere and chants from the fans at his former club Club Brugge, Buchanan said that “That was something I had never experienced in my entire life. It was amazing.”

“But it’s something I’ve worked towards my whole life.”

Buchanan noted that “Signing with Brugge didn’t hit me until I arrived here.”

“Brugge are a team in the Champions League,” he continued.

“Now I’m ready to show what I can do on the biggest stages in the world,” Buchanan said of his move to Inter.
