Inter Milan are preparing to take on Monza on Saturday night, while Denzel Dumfries and Matteo Darmian are competing for a starting role.

As Tuttosport (via FcInter1908) puts it, Simone Inzaghi will have a full squad at his disposal for the first time in months.

The only absentee is the injured Juan Cuadrado who will be out of action for a considerable amount of time. However, the management has already replaced the Colombian by signing Tajon Buchanan.

The Canadian could make his Nerazzurri debut at the U-Power Stadium tomorrow. However, he won’t be in the starting lineup.

Instead, Dumfries and Darmian will be vying for a starting spot on the right flank. The Turin-based newspaper considers the Italian veteran as the slight favorite to win the duel over the Netherlands international.

This appears to be Inzaghi’s lone selection headache. The manager has apparently made up his mind regarding the rest of the lineup.

As we reported earlier today, the former Lazio tactician is in no mood for rotation. On the contrary, he’ll be looking to field his best lineup, starting with Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram upfront.

Federico Dimarco should make his return to the starting formation after fully recovering from a recent injury. He will replace Carlos Augusto on the left flank.

In the middle of the park, Hakan Calhanoglu will operate in between Nicolo Barella and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Finally, Francesco Acerbi should maintain his spot at the heart of the defense. Despite a shaky performance against Hellas Verona, the Italy veteran remains the favorite over Stefan de Vrij.

Benjamin Pavard and Alessandro Bastoni will also be reconfirmed while Yann Sommer starts between the sticks.

Inter Milan Probable XI (3-5-2): Sommer; Pavard, Acerbi, Bastoni; Darmian (Dumfries), Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Thuram, Martinez
