Inter Milan captain Lautaro Martinez is happy celebrating the Supercoppa Italia win, and then ready to move on to Fiorentina.

The Nerazzurri’s match-winner spoke to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInterNews, after the Supercoppa final against Napoli.

At the moment, Inter are riding high from the momentum of winning their third consecutive Supercoppa Italiana trophy.

Two years ago the Nerazzurri beat Juventus for the trophy. Then last January it was AC Milan.

This time around, Inter dispatched Napoli in the final of the competition, having gotten past Lazio in the semifinal stage of the competition.

Inter captain Martinez was the scorer of the late-winner.

And the Argentine didn’t hold back his emotions after scoring the winner.

But Inter cannot get caught up in the celebrations for too long.

In just a few days the Nerazzurri will be back in action in Serie A. They take on Fiorentina in the league over the weekend, in a match that they’ll feel they have to win with Juventus breathing down their neck.

Lautaro Martinez: Celebrate Supercoppa Now, Then Think About Fiorentina

“The fixture list may not favour us right now,” Martinez said.

“But we have to keep doing our jobs.”

“I’m very happy,” the Nerazzurri match-winner said after the Supercoppa final against Napoli.

“Today it was important for us to win this trophy, after having gone out of the Coppa Italia.”

Martinez went on that “Now we have to return to Milan.”

“We’re celebrating now, but starting from tomorrow we’ll think about Fiorentina, who will be difficult to come up against.”

And as far as his leadership, Martinez said that “It’s my teammates who give me the energy to stay at my best and keep raising my level.”

He went on that “I always say that we can’t relax, because we have to always be ready.”

“Then the coach makes his choices,” he added.

“I’m happy to lift this trophy as captain, and to have teammates like this.”
