Inter Milan veteran Henrikh Mkhitaryan has cemented himself as an invaluable piece of Simone Inzaghi’s starting lineup.

The 35-year-old joined the Nerazzurri in the summer of 2022 after seeing out his contract at As Roma.

He instantly became a favorite at Inzaghi’s court, so much so that the manager hardly ever drops him out of the starting lineup.

The Nerazzurri coach has been adopting a rotation policy in recent months, but it scarcely applies on Mkhitaryan

As Il Corriere dello Sport (via FcInterNews) points out, the Armenian has started in the last 14 fixtures for Inter.

The last time the former Arsenal man found himself on the bench from the first minute was in the Coppa Italia Round of 16 defeat at the hands of Bologna on December 20th.

Curiously, the Emilians also happen to be Inter’s next opponents. The two sides will lock horns this Saturday at the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium for a Serie A encounter.

So we shall see if the veteran will be making his 15th starting appearance in a row against Thiago Motta’s men.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan Has Become Undropable At Inter Milan

As the source explains, Mkhitaryan is now firmly aiming for his maiden Scudetto title.

The midfielder had spells at Borussia Dortmund, Man Utd and Arsenal before landing in Italy through Roma’s gates in 2019.

Aside from his Scudetto aspirations, the experienced star will be looking to guide Inter towards another Champions League final.

The Armenian was a protagonist on the road towards the grand finale. However, he sustained a knock during the EuroDerby against AC Milan.

Therefore, he only featured for six minutes against Man City in Istanbul.
