Inter Milan beat Juventus to the signature of Dinamo Zagreb prodigy Petar Sucic to find a perfect replacement for Marcelo Brozovic.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, Inter splashed out €14 million plus €2m in add-ons to sign the Croatian talent.
In addition to Sucic, Inter signed Nicola Zalewski on loan from Roma at the tail-end of the January transfer window.
However, unlike the Poland international, they left the highly-rated midfielder on loan at Dinamo until the end of the season.
Inter Milan Beat Juventus to Petar Sucic to Replace Marcelo Brozovic
Inter have been in the market for midfield reinforcements since Marcelo Brozovic left Italy for Saudi Arabia in 2023.
Although Hakan Calhanoglu excelled in his new role, a shortage of options has forced Simone Inzaghi to sign Sucic.

Meanwhile, Inter entitled Dinamo to 10% on the future resale to sweeten the deal.
Furthermore, they handed the 21-year-old a handsome pay raise to convince him to choose Giuseppe Meazza.
Indeed, Sucic’s salary will go from €180,000 per year to €1 million net per season.
Yet, he will join Inter only in June. The Nerazzurri decided to let him stay at his boyhood club this term.
