Either Feyenoord or PSV await Inter Milan in the Champions League round of sixteen.
The Nerazzurri learn their fate tomorrow, as the Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews highlight. They will face neither AC Milan nor Juventus after both were upset by two Dutch teams.
Inter Milan will play a two-legged tie in the Champions League round of sixteen next month.
The Nerazzurri booked their place directly in the knockouts by finishing in the top eight of the “league phase” of the revamped competition.
Inter had been facing the possibility of taking on major domestic rivals. Both AC Milan and Juventus had been among the Nerazzurri’s potential opposition.
Feyenoord Or PSV – Inter Milan Learn UCL Round Of 16 Opposition Tomorrow
The last couple days have seen all Italian teams except for Inter dramatically crash out of the Champions League, however.
On Tuesday, AC Milan failed to overturn a first leg loss to PSV. They drew 1-1 after a red card to defender Theo Hernandez.

Then, yesterday, Juventus lost to Feyenoord in extra time.
That means that Inter will face one of the two teams from the Eredivisie remaining in the competition next month.
Therefore, the prospect of a Milan Derby or Derby d’Italia in the Champions League has gone.
Tomorrow will be the draw where Inter Milan learn who their opponents will be.
