Simone Inzaghi says that he’ll discuss his future with Inter Milan after the Champions League final.
The Nerazzurri coach spoke at the UEFA Open Media Day press conference, as reported by FCInterNews.
By now, the rumours linking Simone Inzaghi to Al-Hilal are out in the open.
Reportedly, the Saudi Pro League club have made the 49-year-old Inter Milan coach their top target to replace Jorge Jesus on their bench.
Al-Hilal would be ready to make a massive financial offer to convince Inzaghi.
This has caused a stir within the world of the Nerazzurri, naturally.
By all accounts, Inter want to continue on with Inzaghi. However, it may not be in their hands if the former Lazio coach were to decide to accept a big money proposal from Al-Hilal.
Therefore, the coming weeks will be hugely significant ones for Inter’s future. But in the meantime, there is a bigger priority.
Inter face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final at the end of this month.
Inzaghi Addresses Future Amid Al-Hilal Links: “I’ll Discuss It With Inter After Champions League Final”

Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi commented that “my club knows me well.”
“You don’t don’t know me as much,” the 49-year-old told the media.
“This happens every year,” Inzaghi continued. “There are offers from Italy, from abroad, from Saudi Arabia.”
“But it would be crazy for me to think about that,” the Inter coach said.
“I have a great relationship with the club directors and the ownership here,” Inzaghi declared.
“So the day after the big match, we’ll sit down and discuss it. For the good of Inter.”
“If the conditions are right, then we’ll move forward together harmoniously,” said the Inter coach. “The way we’ve always done over the last few years.”
“But at the moment, talking about it would be crazy,” Inzaghi reiterated. “None of this exists when you look at what’s just ahead of us on Saturday.”
Meanwhile, Inzaghi said that he is “very excited” to reach another Champions League final as Inter coach.
“We’ve done a great job. But we still haven’t taken the final step that would make this massive dream come true.”
“From today on, we’ll prepare as best we can,” the Inter coach continued.
“We’ve just finished a league season in which we had some regrets.”
“It’s normal that sometimes you have to suffer. But it’s right for us to congratulate Napoli for a great title race that went right down to the wire.”
“But talking about anything else here would be inappropriate,” Inzaghi stressed. “I ask that you stick to what’s happening on Saturday.
Inzaghi Calls PSG “A Great Team With Great Individual Players”

Next, Inzaghi gave his thoughts on Inter’s opponents in Saturday’s final, Paris Saint-Germain. “They’re a great team with great individual players,” he said.
“They have top players and a coach who I have tons of respect for. He’s given them very precise principles of play, and already has experience in Champions League finals.”
“We know what we’re up against,” Inzaghi made clear. “We’ll prepare for it our best, because we know that we need a top Inter performance to win.”
Meanwhile, Inzaghi remarked that “if we want to make history, we have to try to win on Saturday.”
“We know that we’re up against a superteam, one that we respect a lot,” the Inter coach continued.
“Just like Bayern and Barcelona.”
“But they’re facing a team that has the same objective they do,” Inzaghi warned. “We’ll try to play a great final.”
Inzaghi also noted that “heart will be important” in Saturday’s final.
“This team has always put that onto the pitch.”
“As a coach, I’m proud to work with a group like this. We’re facing a great opponent, like all the teams we’ve faced in the Champions League in the last four years.”
Inzaghi anticipated “there will be moments in the match where we have to suffer.”
“We’ll have to face those well. Like a real, organized team, manage those moments.”
“PSG have also lost a final in recent years,” he then noted. “We’ll be among very few teams who reach two finals in the space of just a few years.”
as a Saudi fan since 2006
please Simone don’t come to al hilal you have a legacy to build here
Well… I don’t care much what happens to Inzaghi. We just need to win the UCL by all means necessary. FORZA INTER!!!!
you have to care about him if you love this club or you’re just another plastic fan
It’s because I love this club that I don’t care what happens to him. There is literally no plan B or tactical changes happening in his games. We don’t use wingers or creative players and have been playing the same way for the past 3 years.
For the last 3 years we won 2 coppa and 2 supercoppa one league tittle and 2 UCL finals
I will take that in a heartbeat for every 3 years ♂️
i dont know why you dont like or you dont care about him, dont you know how to be grateful? when inter had bad periods after winning treble, were you happy back then for almost a decade?
I think Conte was one of our worst coaches and he won the scudetto after many years of suffering. Mancini did a great job with our team and he was fired for De Boer after he did so much for the club. I would love to have Mancini back, after all he is the second greatest coach that I have seen coach Inter after Mou (the special one) who I am forever grateful for.
mancini was good but nowhere close with inzaghi achievement, yes of course he won 3 scudettos, but in european competition he wasnt good enough thats why he was replaced by jose. 2 UCL FINALS brother
do you think it will happen with inter every ten years?
if he stays another 5 years inter may appear at least once in the final again since the squad cores are still in their prime. or at the very least we are not joke in europe
He is saying his desire is to stay at Inter, he does not care much about big offers from Saudi, but conditions needs to be right. In other words, he wants to make sure Oaktree has a serious, competitive project.
