Inter Milan are eyeing up Man United’s Matthijs de Ligt and Atalanta’s Giorgio Scalvini as possible targets in defense this summer.
This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan will certainly be keen to shore up their defense this summer.
This past season, the Nerazzurri have been relying on aging players like Stefan de Vrij and Francesco Acerbi.
The future of that pair of former Lazio defenders is in doubt. But even if one or both of the two veterans do remain, the Nerazzurri undoubtedly must bring in fresh blood.
Inter Milan Eye Up De Ligt & Defense As Defensive Reinforcements
According to SportMediaset, Inter are considering a move for Manchester United defender Matthijs de Ligt.
The former Juventus and Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt only made the switch to Old Trafford last summer. He joined from Bayern Munich after two seasons in Germany.
However, according to Mediaset, Inter are considering a move for de Ligt.
Meanwhile, the broadcaster anticipate, Inter could also reignite their interest in another long-term defensive target.
Atalanta’s Giorgio Scalvini has dealt with injury problems this season. Nevertheless, report Mediaset, Inter still regard the Italian international highly, and could move for him this summer.
Scalvini is a nice option if we could get him for right price. Hes been injured whole season basicly but has great potential. We need a few new CB anyway..
well we have palacios ready and I really hope inzaghi puts bisseck in central position instead of left or right. this team also need someone who can dribble past way opponents like zalewski just in case we’re in the situation getting pressed so hard

and after ucl final you think our cb still cut it?
To be fair , i rate only Bastoni and Pavard as good enough.. Acerbi,Darmian and De Vrij are too old , Bisseck and Augusto are not a top CB options..
So yeah at least 2 defenders would be nice
