Alfredo Pedulla reports that Inter Milan have sounded out a move for Nicolo Rovella, with Lazio facing a “critical” financial situation.
The SportItalia transfer market laid out the situation on air, via FCInter1908. He confirms that Inter have made an offer for the 23-year-old of €35 million plus Kristjan Asllani.
Inter Milan are eyeing up a move for Lazio midfielder Nicolo Rovella.
The 23-year-old is a player who the Nerazzurri see as an ideal replacement for Hakan Calhanoglu.
It is still uncertain whether Calhanoglu will stay or go. However, the strong interest from Galatasaray means that the Nerazzurri are bracing themselves for the possibility of having to replace him.
And Rovella is a player who would offer a strong like-for-like replacement. Therefore, he would reportedly be the priority target in the event that Calhanoglu departs.
Pedulla: “Inter Have Sounded Out Rovella Move, Lazio Financial Situation Critical”

SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla reports that “Inter have seriously inquired about Nicolo Rovella.”
“It happened within the last 24 hours. We don’t know if they were just sounding out a movie in case of big offers for Calhanoglu.”
“The fact is that Inter put an offer on the table of around €35 million,” Pedulla reports. “Plus a loan with a purchase option of Asllani, which could become an obligation under certain conditions.”
Pedulla anticipates that Inter are “sounding out Lazio, which at the moment can’t do anything in the transfer market.”
“After this weekend they’ll meet with Sarri,” he adds.
“Lazio have rejected the advance from Inter. We recall that Rovella has a release clause of €50 million. And it would be necessary to pay it, after getting the yes from the midfielder.”
“Those two steps have not occurred,” Pedulla adds.
However, “the position of Lazio remains critical, to put it euphemistically.”
average kid?? — probably one of the better midfielders in serie A .. 50 is large – but if chala goes and it looks like that he will depart – i would not mind SIGNING a 23 y rold ! aslani cant carry that weight.
i don’t understand why people hate aslanni so much. we Will see how he plays against Fluminense n man city supposedly he never start 5 games in row
he has improved in these last three games though i can see still he looks scared to make vital decision or flashy move (playing safe)
i personally think he has great talent
50 millions is too much for Rovella
Why tf are Inter chasing this average kid? We don’t need anyone from Lazio or Torino for that matter. The owners of these two clubs are the epitome of greed; overhype and overvalue their players. Disgusting!
Average? This guy is a workhorse with unlimited engine. With Inter he would add goals and assists too and it would be a coup, He is the future of the national team(middle along with Barella and Tonali) at the moment and could be the engine of Chivus team! Lazio would be mad to let him leave without the release clause but if I ter can somehow get Aslani off the books in the same time, coup would be an understatement.
But hey, we are Internazionale so let’s bring international players, right?
i dont remember our last good deal with Lazio??? who can help me??? Correa ? Hernanez???
Not sure why we are going for Rovella when Chivu wants a solid defensive midfielder. I am sure there are many great options who we can purchse for 50mil or less.
Rocco Reitz
I am not convinced by Rovella. So far he has been mid-table level. Furthermore, 50 mln for him is naive to pay. The best for us would be Ederson, but he is expensive for our standards.
