Inter Milan captain Lautaro Martinez may have unintentionally started a revolution at San Siro after Monday’s loss to Fluminense.
Per La Repubblica via FCInterNews, El Toro’s post-match remarks could have lasting consequences on the Nerazzurri squad.
Lautaro Martinez lost it after Inter failed to reach the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup quarterfinals.
Indeed, the 27-year-old caused havoc in the dressing room with an outrageous statement after the game.
Though directed at Hakan Calhanoglu, it took casualties, with Marcus Thuram among those feeling called out.
How Lautaro Martinez Outburst Helps Inter Milan Clear Squad

Several Inter stars have attracted interest from foreign clubs.
In addition to Calhanoglu, Davide Frattesi and Yann Bisseck have emerged as targets for Europe’s top teams.
Meanwhile, there’s an emergency involving Denzel Dumfries’ €30 million release clause.
Indeed, that makes the Dutchman an easy target.
On the other hand, Beppe Marotta has his hands full, with Inter going through a transitional summer.
With Lautaro urging all wantaway players to come forward, Marotta could have his work cut out in reshaping the squad.
Therefore, El Toro may have accidentally opened the floodgate.
just leave for anyone wants to leave. however, there is no one bigger than club!!!
If anybody is offended by Lautaro, it means Lautaro is right about them.
They can take their soft ego’s and get on a plane and fork off to Saudi Arabia with that rat coach.
As fans, this is an opportunity to come together to support the Captain and the new coach and start a new cycle with a team that has passion for Inter.
Ditto!!!
Yea fuck it, lets just build a new team around couple of our key players (Lautaro, Barella, Bastoni) The horrible football I saw two days ago show we need to make a big change even if it is going to cost us in short term but its a change that was need long time ago. Im going to see Pio as a new purchase along with Susic, Henrique and Bonny. Thanks to good free transfer purchases and getting to Champs finals we will get good amount cash if we sell some players.
We already needed overhaul in the next two years, but maybe not this sudden. As for Dumfries i didn’t know he had any release clause, for his replacement i would pick Zanotti, good season in Switzerland, cheap and our youth player
Indeed, it was a horrendous and disastrous mistake by our m noanagement to let a player like that leave without a cheap buy-back clause. We sold him for too cheap and look at him now.
For a right back over the course of 2 seasons to have 3+5 and 2+11 of g+a statistics is pretty impresive. Considering we don’t have much money and management want to reduce wage bill, don’t know why they won’t buy players from leagues like Swiss, Belgian, Dutch. There are good players there who are in impresive form and would be an upgrade over some of our players, who are spent, like Sucic was for example
Can we try to get Hakimi or is his wage out of our limit?
There’s no way PSG would let him leave, not for anything less than 100mil, even if they wanted to sell, as for his wage, he would probably cost 10mil per year minimum.
