Arrigo Sacchi has praised Inter’s mentality and organisation after their 1–0 win away at Roma, highlighting how Cristian Chivu’s ideas are now becoming visible on a top stage.
Sacchi told La Gazzetta dello Sport that Inter are “in clear growth”, noting that the Nerazzurri are starting to show the structure and personality of a team fully embracing its coach.
The Nerazzurri won 1-0 at the Stadio Olimpico, with a goal from Ange-Yoan Bonny decisive in the clash.
Furthermore, the young Frenchman continues to shine in the absence of Marcus Thuram.
He argued that “Chivu is showing his qualities on a great stage like Inter,” and that the victory at the Stadio Olimpico was both authoritative and mature.

The former Milan coach also reserved special praise for Ange-Yoan Bonny, describing him as “a modern forward who presses, attacks space, plays for the team and knows how to score.”
Sacchi stressed that Inter won because they “interpreted the match perfectly, knew when to wait, when to strike and how to respond blow for blow.”
For Roma, he preached calm, insisting that Gasperini’s project will take time.
Sacchi concluded that Serie A is wide open, but that Inter’s performance in Rome is the sign of a team with real title credentials.
