Cristian Chivu has enjoyed a dream start to life at San Siro.
Despite losing twice in the opening three Serie A rounds, the 44-year-old has steadied the ship.
Furthermore, he has turned Inter’s frontline into a goalscoring machine.
Inter Milan Firing on All Cylinders Under Cristian Chivu

Inter’s most prolific start under Simone Inzaghi came in the 2021/22 season, when they netted 23 goals in the first ten games.
In addition to outperforming their previous numbers under Inzaghi, Inter have displayed remarkable fluidity in attack.
Indeed, the San Siro giants have averaged nearly three goals per game, scoring at least two goals in five of their last six matches.
Therefore, Inter are no longer ‘predictable,’ as they had been toward the end of Inzaghi’s regime.
Instead, they’re looking like a well-oiled machine.

the 4-2-4 is working really good
Bonny and Pio wouldn’t play much in Inzaghi era.
inzaghi have no good reserves like chivu’s ….. should i ask the question will be who’s fault?
Well he could’ve had it but decided to leave as he wanted experience “old” players if I recall correctly this summer window.
I give coach Chivu alot of credit for the success but we also have better depth then last year. Our front line with Lautaro, Thuram, Bonny, Pio is way better than last year. Our mid got way better as well. I thought we lost on defense when we got rid of Pavard but Akanji has been a really good pickup. I think we need to add some speed on our back line though. Thats my opinion
Exactly the depth in attack is a huge improvement but let’s not forget that Inzaghi doesn’t those backups last season were the coach choices despite them being so limited in so many ways(Arna, Correa and Taremi). This only makes Chivu like a good choice because he can actually trust young players with potential which makes the project more sustainable long term. Chivu will go through more big tests but he’s doing well so far
