Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi has reportedly grown frustrated with his bit-part status at San Siro.
According to La Repubblica via FCInter1908, the 26-year-old is open to leaving the Nerazzurri as early as January.
Davide Frattesi emerged as a genuine transfer target for Roma last winter.
However, Inter rejected the Giallorossi’s approach as Simone Inzaghi didn’t want to lose his first-team star midway through the season.
Furthermore, the San Siro giants turned down Atletico Madrid’s attempt to lure Frattesi away in the summer.
Davide Frattesi Frustrated with Inter Milan Wobble
Cristian Chivu promised to reignite Frattesi’s career after replacing Inzaghi in June.
However, the 45-year-old has not lived up to his word.
Indeed, Frattesi has started just once in Serie A this season, logging only 198 minutes of action in the top flight.
Low in the pecking order, Frattesi has grown frustrated with his fringe status at the club.
Still, his exit is far from a foregone conclusion, especially with Inter slapping a substantial €40 million price tag on his head.
