Inter Milan supporters have chosen Hakan Calhanoglu as the club’s player of the month for October.

According to FCInterNews, the Turkish superstar has won the flattering ‘Betsson Player of the Month’ award. 

It’s been a phenomenal start to the season for the 31-year-old.

Indeed, unfazed by a rumor-filled summer, Hakan Calhanoglu has returned to his usual best.

Furthermore, the former AC Milan midfielder has turned into Inter’s primary scoring outlet this term.

With five goals and one assist, Calhanoglu has emerged as Inter’s most prolific player in Serie A.

Other than his stellar scoring exploits, Calhanoglu has re-established himself as the beating heart of this Nerazzurri side. 

Much credit goes to new manager Cristian Chivu, who has never questioned the Turk’s loyalty.

Despite being heavily linked with a summer exit, Chivu has consistently backed the skilled playmaker. 

Meanwhile, the player has repaid that trust with a string of outstanding performances. 

Indeed, Calhanoglu netted four goals in October, including a match-winning double against Fiorentina.
