Hakan Calhanoglu has been among the first Inter Milan stars to return home from November’s international break.

According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, Turkey gaffer Vincenzo Montella has let the 31-year-old skip tomorrow’s clash against Spain.

Though the Crescent-Stars will face the reigning European champions on Tuesday evening, Hakan Calhanoglu has already returned to Appiano Gentile.

Indeed, with Turkey set to finish second in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying Group E, Montella has refused to risk his standout performer.

Therefore, the former AC Milan ace has already made his way back to Italy.
