AC Milan and Inter could engage in a transfer battle for sought-after Sassuolo center-back Tarik Muharemovic.

According to Tuttosport via FCInter1908, the Rossoneri are ready to challenge their San Siro rivals for the defender’s signature.

Tarik Muharemovic has been on Inter’s shortlist since the beginning of the season.

Indeed, the 22-year-old has caught Beppe Marotta’s attention amid an impressive start to life in Serie A.

The Bosnian youngster has cemented his place in Fabio Grosso’s starting lineup, making 11 league appearances so far.

Muharemovic swapped Juventus for Sassuolo in 2024, but the Turin giants could still profit from his potential transfer to San Siro.

Indeed, they boast 50% of any future transfer fee, meaning a move to either Milan club could prove lucrative for the Bianconeri.

Meanwhile, AC Milan have joined Inter in the race for the prodigious center-back, looking to bolster Massimiliano Allegri’s backline.
