Inter Milan coach Cristian Chivu has decided to start Francesco Pio Esposito and Carlos Augusto against Parma. This evening’s Serie A clash kicks off at 21:00 CET at the Ennio Tardini.
The match kicks off at 21:45 GMT (20:45 Local Time) in Milan.
Inter Milan enjoyed a winning start to 2026, securing a revenge-poised 3-1 home victory over Bologna.
Indeed, Lautaro Martinez, Piotr Zielinski, and Marcus Thuram were on the scoresheet as Inter avenged December’s Supercoppa Italiana heartbreak.
Furthermore, Cristian Chivu’s men have now won five consecutive league games for the first time this season.
Meanwhile, Parma remain stranded in Serie A’s lower reaches despite avoiding defeat in their last two league outings.
Parma vs Inter Milan – Pio Esposito Returns to Starting XI

Francesco Pio Esposito made his last Serie A start in mid-December, helping Inter beat Genoa 2-1 at the Marassi.
However, Chivu is ready to bring the 20-year-old back to the starting lineup tonight at the expense of Thuram.
Interestingly, Esposito’s only Serie A goal came on the road as he scored in a 2-0 win at Cagliari in September.
Esposito will line up alongside Lautaro Martinez, who’s looking to extend his scoring run in Serie A to six successive games.
Chivu Hands Carlos Augusto His Seventh Serie A Start This Season

The main talking point comes on the right flank, where Luis Henrique is in line to make his sixth straight league start.
With Denzel Dumfries and Matteo Darmian both unavailable, the Brazilian gets another chance to regain Chivu’s trust.
Meanwhile, Federico Dimarco surrenders his place on the left flank to Carlos Augusto.
At the back, Chivu leans on experience with Francesco Acerbi between Alessandro Bastoni and Manuel Akanji. Therefore, Yann Bisseck gets some rest.
Furthermore, Piotr Zielinski drops to the bench, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan returning to the engine room alongside Petar Sucic and Hakan Calhanoglu.

Lets take a moment to appreciate what henrique is doing for the team. That kid does not stop. Yeah…he may he too practical at times, but playin full on over a month…the kid also needs to slow down and make sure he dont stretch. And then there laurato playing with broken fingers. Deum i love my team
Forza Inter
Congratulations, Niko. You’re winter champion. 😛
Hard game, important 3 points. Luis really can’t play on this position, practically useless. Can’t say if he played in his familiar position how would that go, haven’t really followed him before. But man, we really need to improve finishing, it’s killing us vs big teams.
Napoli next, it’s gonna be a tricky game no doubt. I just hope we are fired up for this game and we can’t afford to lose points VS them. Forza inter.
We need to improve finishing. Too many good chances thrown away.
No david girl – no drama. Forza Inter brothers. Now lets destroy the uneducated rednecks from neapol
We are top of the table and we still get persons criticizing the way the team close games off? Lool what a joke
bunch of clowns who think they know better than the actual pros after playing too much Football Manager.
Bruh…dont sweat it. At least you dont have to deal with davide beoch…
Forza Inter brother. Ignore the haters. Let them suffer
Those who hate the fact that management “settled” with Chivu must be fuming right now. I love it.
Lets see how things in the UCL go. In Serie A I am confident, but in the UCL, Idk.
Awesome! We are winter champions!!!!!!!!!!! No trophy but still it’s big achievement with Chivu. Record 14 wins.
This team seems to play with purpose. Credit to Chivu last season a match like this Inter draws.
Haha suck that ref
lmaooo GOAL
how many inter goals will be disallowed this season???
yes
I never seen a team losing Dive so much.
Bonny!
This is of topic but funny how Inzaghi deemed Aslani an inter material where even in Torino he can’t get into the squad
Watching this from work. Started at 52th minute. Hope we score 2nd. Forza inter
Sucic is obsessed with getting an assist thats why he wasn’t ready to shoot running into that box. Great Sub
how many fu. k ing chance do these useless players need to score
how many fuking chance do these useless players need to score?
Bro got subbed after the shot lol
Gotta do better than that sucic… damn.
On target sucic bro
Mikhi has never seen a final pass he could complete 🙁
Or a shot
It is so damn easy to throw dirt at our players forgetting all the good games they made in the past.
See Susic shot this match…he has time, but he needs to work so hard
Watching this from work. Started at 52th minute. Hope we score 2nd. Forza inter
Not my problem you’re still a teen. Wrap it and leave
watching napoli earlier in 2nd half, this inter is too slow and predictable.
We are sitting back tbh letting Parma get a spell of possession
Def another L for us Nest game. Especially because they didnt win today.
Cry me a river jube. Serie D
Come on man is it not like Napoli played a super game…when they were 2 goals down at home vs Verona. Napoli 4 shots at goal same as Verona. Napoli 2 goals, Verona 2 goals. Take also the first half into account
I’m mostly joshing but after a bad game playing us is like a dream for them since we cant seem to beat them. even when we play better
That cause you’re a plastic clown. Supercoppa final? Niko goal? The demolition before the second star? Oh…you started wathing yesterday. My bad. Go drink you milk and zip it. You dont diss my team foker. You have no arguments lil ragebain rubehore. Get lost. Or get wrecked. Dum hater bich
We are in advantage. Now keep this result and we are winter champions. 😉 Forza Dimarco. 3 goals and 6 assists.
So serie A refs are bad…..but this guy is unbelievable.
Worst refs in the big 4 leagues by far. And players know it and take advantage of their stupidity.
omg! has there ever been a game with worse refereeing!
Pio is doing well again. The midfield other than Hakan is underwhelming then the usual mediocre from Henrique. The important thing is Inter have 1 goal and needs at least two more to kill the match.
sucic and henrique need more confidence and try to shoot. especially sucic who is always doing backpass
Susic yeah Henrique there’s no hope anymore
Dimarco never gets to celebrate, there’s almost always a VAR check. Annoying
It was nowhere near being close to offside either
Then they tried to make it a foul check not offside because offside check is very straight forward check
I don’t get how u have to check that
Finally!!
Literally nothing wrong with that goal. What is the assistant referee smoking? Not even close
Ffs one counter and already almost behind
Parma are lethal with the counters omg
10 shot and 0 goal
Bisseck is playing like a right back in terms of positioning. We are pressing in a 4-3-3 formation and playing like it too. I hope we get that kid from Verona and use actual wingers next season but we are playing so good right now. We are almost perfect!
Sucic should’ve blasted the ball into the net
A must win match. Let’s go boys!!!
I want win this evening and Inter will be winter champion.
wow, finally benching Barella.
Yeah and look what Mikhi & sucic are providing!!
Barella does so much more unseen work allowing others to play.
