Dinamo Zagreb teenager Leon Jakirovic is reportedly keen to join Inter Milan as soon as possible.

According to FCInterNews, the 17-year-old is desperate to continue his career at San Siro despite drawing interest from other clubs.

Cristian Chivu’s men are preparing to announce the arrival of 18-year-old center-back Branimir Mlacic from Hajduk Split.

Indeed, the clubs have agreed on a €5 million transfer fee, with the youngster set to stay in Split until the end of the season.

In the meantime, Beppe Marotta is already working on other signings.

Inter have intensified their pursuit of the highly-rated defender, submitting an official €1.5 million offer.

However, Inter’s opening bid has fallen short of Dinamo Zagreb’s expectations.

Therefore, the Croatian champions have turned the Nerazzurri down amid interest from RB Salzburg and several Bundesliga clubs.

Yet, the player’s desire could prove decisive.

With Jakirovic eager to move to Milan, Dinamo Zagreb may have no choice but to agree to Inter’s terms.
