Inter Milan will have to raise their offer for Branimir Mlacic after Hajduk Split rejected the club’s initial bid.
According to Sky Sport via FCInterNews, the Croatian side deemed Inter’s €4 million offer insufficient.
Branimir Mlacic has emerged as one of Inter’s top targets in January.
Indeed, the San Siro giants have already held talks with the player’s agent to convince the youngster to move to Serie A.
Furthermore, they’ve also submitted a formal offer to Hajduk, only for the Split outfit to turn them down.

Despite Inter’s initial hopes to close the deal at €4 million, the Nerazzurri must raise their offer.
As it appears, the Croatian giants are asking for around €6 million to sanction the sale of their prodigious defender.
However, negotiations are proceeding in good faith, with the Nerazzurri looking to wrap up the deal by the end of the week.
As such, Mlacic could travel to Italy for medicals before returning to Split on loan for the rest of the season.
