Inter Milan are reportedly working around the clock to secure the services of Hajduk Split prodigy Branimir Mlacic.
According to Sky Sport via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri are keen to close the deal by the weekend.
Branimir Mlacic has been on Beppe Marotta’s shortlist since the beginning of the January transfer window.
However, several other top European clubs, including Barcelona and Real Madrid, have also displayed interest in the 18-year-old.
Despite facing stiff competition for the teenager’s signature, the San Siro giants are on the verge of winning the race.
Inter Milan Eager to Complete Branimir Mlacic Signing by the Weekend

After receiving the player agent’s go-ahead, Inter submitted their opening bid to Hajduk Split, putting around €4 million on the table.
Though the Croatian side rejected Inter’s initial approach, the deal is likely to go through in the coming days.
Yet, Inter will have to fork out €5.5 million to convince the Poljud outfit to approve the transfer.
Meanwhile, the highly rated youngster will remain in Split on loan until the end of the season.

We need our big players to perform during big games and they are all letting us down at the moment. Lautaro, Thuram, barella, bastoni. By the time Napoli gets their injured players back in the team things will get more difficult for us as we are already playing with our full squad at the moment. Ac Milan are also playing like they interested in winning the league too. Allegri is good at fighting for serie a with the right players. Forza inter
No favor from Como. Too bad. We had chance to run away for while. 😛
