Inter Milan completed the signing of Yanis Massolin from Modena in the final hours of the January transfer window.
According to Gazzetta di Modena via FCInterNews, that deal marked the Canaries’ record sale.
Despite vying for several high-profile targets, including Ivan Perisic and Moussa Diaby, Inter had to settle for a couple of low-profile signings.
Indeed, the Nerazzurri signed Leon Jakirovic from Dinamo Zagreb, immediately sending him to the U23 side.
Then, they acquired Massolin on deadline day.
Modena Complete Club-Record Sale of Yanis Massolin to Inter Milan

Inter had to fork out around €4.5 million to lure Massolin to San Siro in the transfer window finale.
Furthermore, the 23-year-old midfielder has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with the Lombard club.
Meanwhile, Inter have decided to let the Frenchman stay at Modena on loan until the end of the season.
As for Modena, this piece of business marked the biggest sale in the club’s history.
Indeed, it surpassed their previous record sale, set in 2006 when Cristian Bucchi joined Empoli for €4 million.

I like trying out players from Serie B, Sometimes you dont have to look far. This guy is huge and athletic. I prefer trying him out instead of wasting 50M on Kone who not worth it.
We dont have a player like him in our team so its a good purchase. He’s a good player.
top clubs don’t purchase players from the B leagues, unless real and proven talents, which does not happen so often. I don’t know if that can be said for this guy but it’s a shame that he and another guy from the Croatian leagues were the only acquisitions during the summer transfer window in the face of a real need both in defense and in the midfield.
This is pointless purchase, he’ll have no impact in first team whatsoever and he’s too old for U23 team to develop and resale
What a Game!!!!!!!! Inter U19 3:1 Koln. Heading to quarter final!!!! Well done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our U19s have been good in recent times and it’s great to see
We got a serie b player after all this time in the winter transfer market. On top of that we paid so much more than what we was bought a year ago. If we lose the league I blame management for being so cheap and not investing in the team to push for the title
Anyone is watching U19 vs Koln for UEFA Youth League? Young fellas are doing not bad!!!!
