Inter Milan starlet Issiaka Kamate delivered an honest verdict on his side’s performance in tonight’s 2-1 win over Torino.
Speaking to Inter TV via FCInterNews, the young Frenchman lauded the team’s approach at the Stadio Brianteo.
Cristian Chivu handed Kamate his first-ever senior start for the club in a high-stakes Coppa Italia quarter-final tie.
Despite lacking experience at this level, the 21-year-old put on a shift, repaying the manager’s trust.
Furthermore, the versatile winger picked up an assist as he set up Ange-Yoan Bonny for the opening goal.
Issiaka Kamate Praises Inter Milan After Torino Win

Bonny’s header handed Milan a narrow halftime lead.
However, the Nerazzurri doubled their advantage only two minutes into the second half through Andy Diouf.
Though Torino pulled one back through Sandro Kulenovic, they failed to complete the comeback.
Instead, Inter will continue their Coppa Italia journey in the semi-finals.
Pleased with the team’s display tonight, Kamate hailed the way they approached the game.
Moreover, he confirmed that Chivu gave him clear instructions before the kick-off.
“We did very well to win this game,” Kamate said. “Torino are very strong opponents.
“We gave everything on the pitch and deserved to win. I saw the space, I put in that cross, and I’m happy for Bonny’s goal.
“Today, Chivu gave me a lot of advice before the game. He told me to mark my man, and I tried to do that. I’m happy.
“My goal is to play for Inter with the big names, like everyone else. They all inspire me.
“They’re good, and I try to learn as much as I can from them, for example, Bonny and Thuram. Bonny did well to put it in.”

I prefer this kind of solution, you don’t always have to spend a lot of money to buy new players, you just need to appreciate and give trust to the existing players, and it will be a good morale booster for them when the money that will be used to buy new players is used to increase their salaries, that way I’m sure they will be willing to do whatever the coach tells them to do and whatever benefits the club.
Can we just use him as a wing foward not as wingback? Hes got good pace and got good dribbling ability.
Kamate impressed me really. he is on par with Denzel right now.
