Serie A pacesetters Inter Milan are reportedly weighing up an audacious summer swoop for Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie.
According to TMW via FCInter1908, the USMNT star is on the verge of leaving the Bianconeri as a free agent.
Weston McKennie, who joined Juventus in 2020, has established himself as an indispensable first-team star this season.
Indeed, he has made 24 appearances in Serie A so far, netting three goals and adding four assists.
Furthermore, the 27-year-old has become vital to Luciano Spalletti’s setup, as evidenced by yesterday’s goal against Lazio.
Inter Milan Plotting Bold Move for Juventus Star Weston McKennie

Despite being held in high esteem by Luciano Spalletti, McKennie could be on his way out at the end of the season.
Indeed, his contract in Turin runs out in June, with Juventus unable to convince him to sign a new deal.
Meanwhile, Inter are lurking in the shadows, waiting for the opportunity to pounce.
With Henrikh Mkhitaryan likely to cut ties with the club in the summer, McKennie could be an ideal low-cost solution to fill the void.

I do not understand the hate towards this player.
Is he better than Mhki? yes
better than Fratessi? yes
more proven than Sucic? yes
better than Diouf? yes
If Juve loses him are they worse off? yes
Can he perform at Inter as he does at Juve? unknown.
Anybody coming from Juve is going to be moving against the grain. He is more athletic than anyone in our midfield and he scores a lot of goals. The question is does he have the technique and discipline to play in Inter’s midfield.
He’s American, he hardly cares about the long hatred between Juve and Inter. He just wants to play at a high level and get paid his worth. But, I do understand the Juve/Inter questions. 🙂
What makes the Inter midfield so disciplined in your view? Barella is very undisciplined for example. Technique he lacks but as you point out he’s athletic beyond what we have now
No one is hating on him. At least on my part. The fact that he plays for are biggest rival matters somewhat.
However out of players you listed I would only rate Sucic. Mikhi is in his twilight. Frattesi plays like headless chicken most of the time. Diouf is learning the league and not I’m not even sure if his ceiling is that high.
If we are to sign him on the free and this would meant that he would occupy a spot that we could allocate to better player I would pass on him.
because our club is either broke or the owners are stingy, or may be even both.
Marotta is always keeping an eye on players rejected by Juventus, and on free agents. If they’re not good enough there, why would they be good enough for Inter? Go figure. I hope he doesn’t come.
Why Marotta? Why? Inter doesn’t need him.
Yup, you’re right pal. We need someone better.
FUCK NO!
