Inter Milan coach Cristian Chivu has decided to start Nicolo Barella following his return from injury, while captain Lautaro Martinez will partner Marcus Thuram in attack against Juventus and Hakan Calhanoglu will return to the bench.
The match kicks off at 19:45 GMT (20:45 CET) at a sold-out San Siro, with official lineups now confirmed.
If ever there was a defining moment in the Serie A campaign, this is one.
Inter host Juventus in a Derby d’Italia loaded with title implications and enormous pressure on both sides.
However, Lautaro Martinez and his teammates have repeatedly shown they can deliver in decisive fixtures.

Meanwhile, Juventus arrive with momentum of their own and renewed attacking options, setting the stage for a high-intensity encounter.
Despite the stakes, Inter still have one notable absence.
Indeed, Cristian Chivu remains without Denzel Dumfries, although the Dutch wing-back has returned to partial training and is nearing his comeback.
Therefore, the Romanian tactician has made key midfield decisions following the return of two injured stars.
Inter Milan Vs Juventus – Barella Returns, Calhanoglu Starts On Bench

Nicolo Barella returns directly to the starting lineup after recovering from injury, restoring energy and intensity to Inter’s midfield.
Hakan Calhanoglu is also back available, but the Turkish international begins on the bench.
Piotr Zielinski keeps his place and will operate in a central role alongside Petar Sucic, who was a surprising late addition after it was initially expected that Mkhitaryan would start.
On the flanks, in-form Federico Dimarco and Brazilian Luis Henrique provide width and attacking thrust.
Inter Strength In Attack As Thuram & Lautaro Lead The Line

Marcus Thuram starts alongside captain Lautaro Martinez.
Indeed confirming Inter’s first-choice attacking partnership for the season’s most important fixtures.
Their chemistry and movement remain central to Inter’s attacking identity.
Especially against a Juventus defence built on physicality and structure.
Behind them, the midfield trio will look to control tempo and supply forward momentum.
Juventus Rely On McKennie & Yildiz Support Behind David

Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti faced uncertainty surrounding Khephren Thuram, who misses out due to a bone edema issue.
Fabio Miretti was ready to step in when called upon.
Francisco Conceição returns to the starting lineup and joins Weston McKennie and Kenan Yildiz in support of striker Jonathan David.
The Bianconeri remain without long-term absentees Dusan Vlahovic and Arkadiusz Milik.

As clear as day… Some fans here can not handle the truth… What an annoying goal to concede.. Lost the ball three consecutive times..
Well, well, well…
They cannot defend against a club with one player down LOL
Shit defending and complacency.
Lautaro just casually lose the ball like its nothing in the middle of the pitch
Ref Crazy!
Lautaro is foul guys come on!!!! He is not playing!!!
trash lauti. trash thuram
That was a shtty defense…..so much space giving……Well
Of course they scored. You don’t park the bus and Juventus scores as always.
Of course
Shame on these guys. Playing like were up 2 instead of going for the kill
Not surprised at all. Poor defending whole game
Thuram and Lautaro. STOP HOLDING INTO THE BALL AND PASS IT. GET OUT OF MY TEAM
Inter went deep after scoring. Just insane!!
Diouf I am sorry for doubting you earlier
Damn Dimarco that was your 10 rating game right there
we are nothing without Dimarco.
evem dima can miss
grand goal pio against rubentus and their fans who were defending the trash player who got a red card.
Piooooooooooo. Now park the bus. I don’t trust Juventus.
You trust us to park the bus?
Yes.
Dimarco once again. Pio is a presence in the box!!
That kid has big future at Inter. What a cross and the finish is pure class
At last!!
Said the game needed Pio !!
Now do NOT blow this
PIO PIO PIO PIO PIO PIO PIO
PIOOOOOOOOOOOO
PIIOOOOO
PIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
3 attackers. This is too risky. I’m worried.
Chivu is going for the win and rightfully so. A draw here will feel like a loss.
good subs, hopefully change the game for us
That will be a shame if we can’t beat Juve with 10 men
if we don’t win this game we’ll lose the championship
where thuram ?
Chivu needs to switch to a back 4 and attack Juve.
I know I don’t trust him as a CB, but stick Bisseck up front
if we are going to keep crossing and wishing for the header, we need to pull Lauti out and let Pio on.
Thuram offers nothing this game needs Pio
Barella’s smile disappeared as soon as he saw he was getting subbed
We are currently taking yellows for fun lol
In replay Kalulu is not even holding…. He just tapped his hand for crying out loud lmao. If that’s a foul than this is not a contact sport.
He hit a player without even going for the ball. You cant judge how hard it is from slow motion.
Why Thuram still on the pitch playing?
Not a clue ?
Lol the defending has been crazy
Seriously defense what are we doing?
Saw the replay: very weak contact. No way Bastoni would lose his balance from that but that’s modern football…
announcers were shitting on henrique and thought for sure carlos augusto was coming on for him, am i missing something or has he not been that bad besides the one goal we let up?
He hit him in the chest, idk how thats not a foul.
reply shows him barely getting his arm touched, definitely not a foul we got lucky
If it was Bisseck committed that foul all of you defending JUVENTUS would be calling him an idiot for HITTING a player.
I think red card was harsh , still he did try to stop a counter so…
I dont understand how Henrique can look and see a player right of him and then completly forget about him in like 2 seconds… i dont know what to say about him really i guess i hope he gets better with time
its shocking really, he didnt even try and clear it and stop there. Its mind boggling, its Juve Inter, wake up!
The fok u talkin about. Clear as day bro. Wake up
I think bastoni will come off now and Augusto will take his place, we cant risk being down to 10. Pio needs to come on as early as possible to win some free kicks against Bremer, Lautaro has been awful again (no surprise there).
Fully agree
ref is for neither side… nonexistent yellow on kalulu and clear foul on sucic at the edge of the box
One thing is clear: Team can’t be this passive come second half. Juve showed more initiative and with them being 10 men down now, Inter must win this.
We were unlucky, bur with red card I hope at least we don’t lose.
who’s the ref?
Daniela on var, doveri 4th and the foker abisso behind daniela…nothing new. Rube. Lets wreck them. 6-1
Bisseck lack of inteligence position. Why he avoid the ball He should have just throw it away.
Why are they complaining it’s a clear yellow card. The fact that he already had a yellow doesn’t change the fact that he clearly stopped a counter attacking situation. Juve now might decide to sit deep and play on the counter but Inter face teams that sit deep week in and out and crush them. Inter must be more aggressive in attack because Juve defense isn’t that good
It’s not a yellow card. C’mon man, if it were one of our players who got that, you’d be up in arms comping about the referee. I didn’t like to see this from Bastoni.
That’s not a foul man. Bastoni was literally diving.
Reply was directed at SoloInter. Sorry.
its clear kalulu stopped bastoni.
Looks like he hit him on the chest On the replay.
Replay showed a short version for me with Bastoni diving. Hopefully they show the full thing again sometime later.
I remember Liverpool when the same player Bastoni hold a Liverpool player and he dived then the ref gave a penalty kick. The argument was if Batoni hold him and the answer was yes then the question of diving came to the ref interpretation. Same hear the question is whether or not he was hold back and if the question is yes then Bastoni is not really required to stay up to try to protect Kalulu because he got a yellow card. In fact if Kalulu did that as the last defending player VAR would’ve helped Kalulu and revoked the card but again Bastoni can go down if he feels he was being hold back
I understand what you’re saying. I was against Bastoni’s red card against Liverpool, and I am against this red as well.
do you guys even know what is a technical foul in soccer?
Damn I missed almost all of that first half, Is Enrique playing that bad? Augusto already warming up
probably for Bastoni for 2 reasons: he is on yellow and we need a more attacking lcb
100% agree
Agh ok ok i was like damn. Makes sense.
enrique decent play.
the fortune is in Milan today
The trash congo still arguing
PIOPIOPIOPIOPIOPIOPIO Il Futuro.
So unlucky for Bastoni not scored that. But looks sharp!!
I hate to see that from Bastoni – can VAR get involved if it’s a 2nd yellow?!?
Well, rule is rule. Everyone knows it is slightly touch but clearly, as long as you extend your arm and touched the counter-attacker, that is automatically technique foul with a yellow card. So even VAR can involve, it will not change anything.
Karma is a b£@!$h. How many time have been done by refs in fixture against Rube?
No they can’t and if they were to review it, Bastoni would have been sent off because he’s on a yellow and he would has gotten a second yellow for simulation.
Unlucky hitting the posts. Kalulu being sent off will only lead to Bastoni being sent off eventually. Guaranteed!
Yep, 100%. Now Bastoni is treading on thin ice and once referees review the footage at halftime, you can bet they will give him yellow for any minor incident.
He will be replaced. I trust Chivu because he will definitely be targeted.
Hopefully at the start of the second half. Scandalous decision by the ref for that second yellow.
Yep and Bastoni is like Barella he can lose hi head in a second
Bye bye go back to Congo loser
only weak persons speak like that
You views mean nothing. and that loser is from Congo. I write facts you write feelings. Feelings are made for losers. Glad he was expelled,
What else can you expect from him?
Mind your own business I wasn’t even referring to you. and that loser is from congo and he is a trash. Deal with it you trash.
You write shit and you continue to be an idiot. Told us that we are in the relegation zone this season and Chivu is out by December.
No reason to be like this here. That’s crazy
Lmao what was that sequence of play?
We have to be smarter at defending mannnn
We all (rightfully) complaining but i just wanna appreciate Ziekinski again, he’s just pure class and the only midfielder this season that actually accomplishes things consistently
I never saw in Inter history a player missing good opportunities like Lautaro Martinez. If someone knows just let me know, please?
stupid
Quiet TROLL!!
google “inter top scorers ever!”
Man hush
As much as I wish that one went on target, but i do have a long list for you. So let it go and watch the game.
Sucic has been good so far. Reason for first goal and honestly midfielder trying to create space. Zielinksi been decent. Barella… he has been injured
Better now, forza!!
How the fck it didnt go in???????????? What fck was that shot?>???????????????????
One of them needs to substitute Thuram or Lautaro.
Bisseck literally let the ball go!!!!!
Sure looks that way. What was he thinking?
Barella…?
Clear reasons why we need wingers and creative players. We are struggling against their tricky players.
Both Bisseck and Henrique are to blame. Can’t blame one person for such horrendous defending.
Whole team is to slow and to little agressivness
Our team is currently playing so trash. I don’t understand it
Bisseck let it go.
Yes. He let the ball. How can a central defender not clear the ball in that position?
I Think Bisseck is the one responsible for the goal.
Finally!!!
Luis Henrique is very slow player
Bisseck and Henrique stood still ball watching!!!
But yeah they score goals so a world class right?!
How is that Bissecks fault? It was at Henrique’s feet
He left the ball and did not clear
Correction, Bisseck get out of the way for the ball instead of clear it. Henrique watched it.
Shit defending…
Of course they scored.
LOL Luis Henrique
Luis Henrique come on!!!!
Hm. Guess the luck needed to be cancelled on Henrique
Inter to passive, We will loose if play continues like this
Why is it so hard for most of our team to make a simple pass to a teammate unless it’s backwards ???
Luis Henriqueeeeeeeeee.
Lucky, but if you shoot on target, eventually something will go in. Good job.
LISTEN, I NEVER DOUBTED LUIS HENRIQUE. OKAY?))))
Doubt his defending now?
lol
Luck is on our side so far Pazza goal
Take that boys
Wow. That is so lucky. Good job Henrique
we need some luck
Luis Enrique 1-0
Goal OMG. He scored again
I don’t think integrating Barella from the start is a wise idea. We are playing with a fear now
The midfield trio have had a terrible start….
No-one closing down, giving the ball away.
Wake up guys ffs
is the ref blind??? how is that not a foul on sucic. tired of these refs
inter must win against rubentus esp since the trash ac bilan have been doing extremely well. Wish ac bilan, rubentus across the globe and their fans the worst luck ever
I’m pessimistic about this match. Not only because we win rarely against rivals this season, but also Juventus is our black cat. No matter how is their form, somehow they play much better against us. But also I will say something positive. 2 last Inter wins against Juventus at our stadium were in 2 last Scudetto seasons. So, if we win this evening – Scudetto is ours. Cynics will say also De Boer won against Juventus, but I’m talking about 2 last wins only. 😛
Daniela, doveri and abisso…agnielli have some money to spend 🙂
Lets win this game
Forza Inter
k
Forza Inter!!!!!
This is the biggest game of the season and we are only 5 points ahead of Milan who doesn’t have anything but the league to focus on as well as Napoli.
We always have a hard time against jube, home or away so I just hope we don’t lose this one.
We also have ucl playoffs and coppa to focus on in the middle of winter so we have to rotate.
I want the league at all cost this season since we’ve only won it 1 time the last 4 years while Napoli have double and milan one as well.
Come on inter let’s play a good game !!!
Milan has reduced the lead to only 5 pts, so we must win this one..
FORZA INTER
Good luck!!!!
