Inter Milan U20 coach Benito Carbone is reportedly on the verge of penning a new contract at San Siro.
According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri are working to extend the 54-year-old’s deal.
Benito Carbone took charge of the U20 side last summer, having previously coached the U18 team.
Furthermore, the former forward has been nothing short of impressive this season.
Indeed, he steered his side to the Italian Super Cup title in August, beating Cagliari on penalties.
Inter Milan to Offer Benito Carbone New Contract

In addition to his standout result in the domestic Super Cup, Carbone has helped Inter reach the UEFA Youth League quarter-finals.
Carbone’s charges outclassed Real Betis in the Round of 16, emerging as 5-3 winners at Stadio Ernesto Breda.
Therefore, they will continue their continental journey in the last eight, with Benfica set to test their European credentials.
Meanwhile, Carbone has already done enough to convince the Nerazzurri chiefs to extend his deal.
In addition to Carbone, Inter are also eager to tie Cristian Chivu down to a new long-term contract.
