Former Inter goalkeeper and Inter legend Walter Zenga, currently working as coach for Serie A side Crotone, was interviewed by Premium Sport and expressed his discontent with how the transfer market is working where teams can buy and sell players in the middle of the season.

“We can say that I am not the biggest fan of how the transfer market is designed. This because we have a game within 7 days and with an open transfer market on the same time, things get complicated – the former Sampdoria and Catania manager began – I think the situation should be reviewed, but it happened to me already when I was at Catania, Palermo and Genoa. Especially for us coaches, this situation where you can buy and sell players during a championship make things complicated because it is difficult for me to talk about what parts of the team that needs reinforcement at the same time as I need to keep my players motivated.”
