Former Lazio and current Roma player, Alexander Kolarov will be one of Inter’s opponents in tonight’s tough game against Roma.
But Kolarov could have been an Inter player because Inter coach Luciano Spalletti made an explicit request to Inter’s management in the summer for the Serbian full-back, according to Corriere dello Sport who continues: “Both Piero Ausilio and Walter Sabatini had been following Brazilian full-back Dalbert for quite some time, the same player that is currently struggling in order to get some playing time, something Nice coach Lucio commented on yesterday: ‘I am sorry that he does not get to play because I think he has a lot of qualities.’ The young Brazilian costed a lot more than Kolarov also, €20 million plus €6 million in bonuses to compare to the €5 million Roma paid Manchester City for Kolarov. But for Inter it was more of an investment for the future if you compare the age of the two players (24 versus 32). So far this season there is no comparison between the two and in the short term perspective there is some disappointment in the Inter camp. Inter’s management is however convinced that the investement will pay off eventually.”
“Nice coach Lucio commented…”
hahaaha i really had to google if they fired favre and lucio turned into a coach at Nice lol.
thanks for wasting my time sempreinter 😉
It became tradition since Maicon success, FB is Brazilian. It’s hard for us to look the other way. Sad.
well, if this is based on ausilio only i probably cannot trust it. But with sabatini behind it too, hope it turns out right that he just needs adaptation this season. Then he will improve for next seasons to come
No surprise here. Inter management often ends up in disappointment. Next season good luck to Aussilio shipping Dalbert back to Brazil.
lmao an some fans thought that he requested Dalbert.. I mean maybe he can get better but at this point he hasn’t prove much, thought he just arrive still I would have preferred Grimaldo, Darmian or Barreca.
