It is a special moment for Inter midfielder Antonio Candreva who, after being a starting player, finally was benched in the game against Bologna last Sunday. With the current form, this has caused a problem for Inter coach Luciano Spalletti, although we are talking about a player who very often got substituted during the second half in most of the games.
That is also what Italian newspaper TuttoSport underlines in their Inter coverage of today’s paper edition of the outlet: “Spalletti has substituted Candreva 17 times this season, 16 times in the Serie A where he is only “beaten” by Napoli’s Hamsik who has been brought off 17 times. When it comes to the star players Icardi and Perisic, they have had different treatment, where Icardi has been replaced 9 times, but only during the final minutes. Last Sunday Candreva was on the bench for the entire game and could see his replacement break through and score the winning goal. When it comes to Ivan Perisic, the Croat has never been substituted.”
Now however, Candreva is ready to restart with his engines fired up, and he could return as a starting player tomorrow.
I’m just happy that Perisic is out! I don’t think that Spaletti would have ever dropped him, if he was fully fit – although I cannot figure out why, he’s been a complete waste of space since December 3rd!! Gagliardini, Santon, Dalbert, Cancelo and Candreva have all been dropped following poor performances, but not Perisic- why?!?!?
Karamoh should start it is clearly obvious why. Candreva is a clueless headless chicken who doesnt know what yo do with the ball or how to play, so no for candreva. Karamoh is clever, can dribble and he is not afraid to shoot from outside the box. Karamoh should play again i hope.
Ohhh Noooo
NO!

1. 20
2. 21
3. ∞
the first question that all of you might ask is “WHY”?
Rafinha needs to be play in the center…moving him to the wing without someone who can move the ball forward down the center would reduce his effectiveness….so Candreva playing left or right wing works…would personally move him to the left as he doesn’t link up well with Cancelo so with D’Ambrosio playing left-back as expected he should feel right at home…would actually drop Borja to give him a rest and also keep him in reserve in case Rafinha needs to go off early due to fitness issues…
As long as Karamoh and Rafhina start I don’t give a shit where Crossdreva plays.
no need for him,
we are better without him,
however anyone is better than perisic now since perisic still holding his shoulder to this day probably
put him to replace peri
on the left please! this msn needs to cut inside and shoot!
karamoh left
‘right
He will cross, even if he plays as ST on a one-one situation!
for sure, we lack of option on the left and candreva is safest bet
