Inter’s Italian central defender and captain for the match against Genoa, Andrea Ranocchia stopped by in the mixed zone at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris and talked to Inter TV after the disappoiting 2-0 loss away against the Grifoni.

The former Genoa defender began by talking about the unlucky owngoal he scored stating that: “My own goal was incredible, they told me that this was the first time in many games that something like this happened. Now we just have to look ahead of the next game and restart with a good game against Benevento.

“There are still a lot of games to be played. Genoa readjusted after their goal and it seemed like we did not have the right reaction to their goal, but it was not like this. When they took the lead they remade their game plan, loweeing the team and that made it really hard for us to put pressure on them” Ranocchia concluded.
