After the game against Genoa, Inter coach Luciano Spalletti talked to RAI Sport and tried to explain what happened starting by stating that “In this game we just did not have anything to respond with, the reason for this is that we, at the moment, can not master the game. The game was pretty even, then came the autogoal and that created a lot of difficulties. Especially considering that we currently are in a difficult period.”
This negative period just do not seem to end…
“If the team is doing what I asked them to do, this means that I am asking them to do something wrong. Last week we have tried a numerous different things, but I have to defend my guys.”
What kind of relationship do you have with the management?
“We are there working from dusk until dawn, During the mercato, a lot of names have been dropped. Names that all affect my players. At the moment everybody is talking about a rebuild, I have to reassure my team that I trust them.”
Do you feel that you are in the middle of these discussions?
“Absolutely no, you are wrong. That being said does not mean that the management does not take decisions and based upon my performance or analyse me.”
But at the end, how did the January window end according to you?
“There were talks about Pastore and Sturridge. Now the mercato is over. Basta. There are still 14 games left of the championship, why are there talks about a revolution? Of course we have to talk about the future and have an eye at the mercato in June, but I have to think of the work that is ahead of me now.”
Spalletti has no clue what he is doing and i’ve seen this for a while now
he is right. he does not have the players to respond with, but still has to defend them. we dont have players that can attack and create so we are just praying for some cross or set piece to go in while praying our opponents miss their chances.
We have , on the bench however
who?
karamoh? young with unpredictible form.
eder? rusty, getting worse with age.
brozo? most lazy player inter ever had.
candreva? predictible runs and blind crosses.
perisic? lost his speed and agility with age. cant dribble past anyone anymore.
icardi? completely useless without getting balls from friends.
and im not gonna even start talking about our incompetent midfielders.
only rafinha have some creativity but we got him after he was sidelined for 8 months so he cant start. when he will finally start he would probably recieve inter luck and get injured for another 8 months while we will already lose any chance for top-4.
Yeah, Karamoh and Rafinha who add technique and dimension to the team
Eder is also great for 442,
Dalbert did well every time he played
But the problem with that stubborn bald guy is he doesn’t even think about a change, too conservative
Leave us in peace ..
I’m not a FDB lover but those were his words as written in an article by Football Italia :
Frank De Boer claims Inter “formed a block” in the locker room. “When I tried to play position-based football… The Ajax youth players did better.”
He was brought in to replace Roberto Mancini two weeks before the 2016-17 season began and lasted until the end of October.
The Dutch tactician was also then hired and fired by Crystal Palace this term, but insists San Siro was a worse experience.
“I had more complications in Italy and it wasn’t just because of the language, but also the way of transmitting my messages and my ideas,” De Boer told Ziggo Sport in the Netherlands.
“Our way of thinking is much more similar to England, whereas at Inter it was all based on sentiment. They formed a block of seven or eight players and the rest try to knock them out.
“It was a bit chaotic, everyone did what they wanted. When I tried to make Inter play position-based football, well… I’d never seen anything like it. Youth team players at Ajax did it better.
“I didn’t expect that to happen. Even in training, they gave up on the routines very early and didn’t see the point of them.”
I would not take FDB words to seriously as he failed even more at crystal palace and was a huge disappointment with us, but there gotta be some truth to his comments.
It’s either that or we are cursed and will never get back to the UCL. Imo, enough with changing coaches, we been doing that for years and nothing changes. Therefore, the problems must lie somewhere else… FUKEN MANAGEMENT !!
Who is in charge of this club ? Why don’t we hear them when everything is turning to shit ?? Wtf is Zanetti’s job btw ?? Wtf is Steven Zhang doing to fix the problems ? Why is Ausilio still here when he is the main reason we have such a fu**ed up team made up of mercenaries who don’t fight, or those who actually fight are mid level team players such as Dumbo, nagatomo, rano etc that don’t bring nothing when actually try to play football ???
I really wanna have an answer to these questions but, as usual, we’ll be fed with the good’ol speech… “we are inter bla bla bla, we have to do better bla bla bla, we can still do it bla bla… until the end we finish 6th and repeat next year.
The bottom line is that this club is mismanaged and the fans are either too blind or brainwashed by the Baldy who as usual buy washed up fancy players with Option to buy and everyone starts sucking him, oblivious to the fact that we pay such players huge salaries. We were giving Conte 20m a year…Which is laughable cause he wouldnt have done shit with this squad not even Mou spirit possessed by Heleinao Herrera will teach these zero IQ players anything.
Exactly, media and people should stop accusing the head coach. Look at Rube for example, no matter who coaches them they always lead, they have a great structure and a better training and discipline. We lack a lot. Mou said when he chose his players at Inter he selected the ones who were hungry to have any heroic achievement before they retire, so here again, training and discipline. I still believe that Ausilio plays a huge part in our mess
Ausilio is a man with zero vision. He just buy players based on market and then he expects a coach to blend them. It is not going to work ever in 100 years. The man is stupid and if he was DOS of any small team he would have relegated them couple divisions down.
that’s inter !
I want to add somethings that I have overheard in news and such along with my observation.
-Jovetic said Inter manager dont have the power to pick players, it is certain players who does it. (He is bitter yes but it may also hold some truth)
-The only time Inter played attacking football was in the start of season. Where the downfall started? Prodonone.
-GO back to Mancini era, Where the fall started? Defeat against Lazio.
-Rafinha and Karamoah heck even gabigoal have this one touch pass and run to space mentality unlike our dead players. I must Eder is also a player of the same calibre.
Summary: There is physical problem with players, that could come from training coaches, equipement or whatever that our players are only fit till decemeber and we are only playing in one competition. Second, we have lots of players with different characteristics and mentality and no coach can make them work the way he wants. Blame goes on Baldy for not planing a future and buying left and right. No doubt we have so many Gabiflops.
